Krimson Academy offers course that will help you grow in the Security Industry.

These course will give you the necessary knowledge to be more confident on the job.

UMARMED TRAINING

Obtain your 20-hour unarmed security certificate through this course. A 20-hour unarmed security certificate is required in the state of Illinois to work as a security officer.

This course is a prerequisite for the 48 hour Armed Security Training. Once this course is completed you will be able to attend the armed training.

PERC LICENSE

Stop by one of our three locations to apply for your Permanent Employee and Registration Card.

A PERC is required to work as a security officer in the state of Illinois.

Livescan Fingerprints are also needed for your PERC. When coming in to apply for your PERC license one of our licensed fingerprint technicians will print you for your application.

ARMED TRAINING

Obtain your Firearms Training Certificate through our 48 hour course that is required for any person entering the security field as an armed security guard. Having this certficate makes you elgible for a TAN card. (Armed Security License) .

Prerequisite:

IL Unarmed Security Officer Training

Training Includes:

· Refresher of the unarmed course

· Criminal Law/Use of Force/Carrying and Transporting of Weapons

· Types of Handguns/Maintenance/Ammunition/Storage/Firearm Safety

· Shooting Stance/Grip/Sight Alignment/Breathing Control/Trigger Squeeze

· Supervised Range Supervision

· Range Time/Targets/Fire Arms/Ammunition

CONCEALED CARRY

What You Will Learn:

· Education on State and Federal laws regarding ownership, storage, carry, and transportation of a firearm

· Weapon handling and drawing from concealment

· Use of force and Firearm Safety, basic principles of marksmanship

· Care, cleaning, loading and loading of a firearm

TARGETS, RANGE FEES, AMMUNITION, & FIREARM LOANERS INCLUDED!

Students are always welcome to bring their own firearms and ammo to the class for qualification.
